1 cup bread flour
1 cup corn meal
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 t salt
1/4 t Chipotle powder
1/2 t baking soda
1 cup milk
1 t apple cider vinegar
4 T butter
Combine dry ingredients in 1 gallon bag
Combine apple cider vinegar and milk in a jar
Combine wet ingredients except butter in the bag
melt butter in dutch oven. Squeeze batter into dutch oven on top of butter.
Bake 30 minutes with 20 charcoal briquettes on top. The top of the cornbread should be golden brown and a toothpick or fork should come out clean if inserted.
